A major milestone has been reached for the OghamYachts 54SP, with its launch and first sailing trials taking place in Northern Brittany, in the presence of the builder, Bord à Bord.

These first sea trials provided an opportunity to validate the yacht’s sailing qualities and to experience her behaviour in a range of conditions. The 54SP demonstrated a well-balanced performance, precise handling and a high level of comfort, confirming the key choices made during the design process.

Sea trials are a crucial stage in the development of a new yacht. They allow the design to be tested in real sailing conditions and provide valuable feedback for the final adjustments before delivery.

It is particularly rewarding to see the 54SP finally come to life on the water, following the many stages of design, engineering and construction that have shaped this project.

The first miles under sail mark the beginning of a new chapter for the OghamYachts 54SP.
