STRENGTHENING OUR EXPERTISE AT VINCENT LEBAILLY YACHT DESIGN

At Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design, experience is gained over time, and sometimes through training.

Recently, Vincent, the agency manager, took part in two four-day training courses offered by EFT (L’Escale Formation Technique), one focusing on marine electricity and the other on marine mechanics. These courses are specially adapted to the types of boats we design, small pleasure craft and passenger ships.

The knowledge gained from this training enables us, as naval architects, to better guide the design of our projects, taking into account the imperatives of maintenance and access to equipment, all with the support of experienced instructors who enhance their lessons with anecdotes from the past to help us avoid the pitfalls of certain set-ups…

During these sessions, we had the opportunity to deepen our practical skills on the installation and maintenance of essential equipment on board: windlass, engines, pumps, filters, solar panels, through concrete exercises.

A Salt57cc (Garcia sailboat), one of the very first boats we designed, was featured in a photo exhibition on the training premises. What a pleasure to see our creations, whatever the medium or the location!
