HOPE 28′

HOPE 28′ was designed following the request to have a boat in Normandy perfectly adapted to the practice of sailing for people with reduced mobility.

Built by the company LEBAILLY NAUTISME in Normandy, the boat can be delivered ready to sail or an amateur construction can be possible.

Description of HOPE 28′

The goal was to design a sailboat allowing as many people as possible and in particular people with reduced mobility, to discover the pleasure of sailing.

The boat had to be a monohull and will therefore has to be particularly stable and should present a clear deck…thus the HOPE28′ was born!

“A note of Hope” for people who are usually not regularly invited on board sailing vessels and who will now be able to discover the please of sailing and sailing sensations.

Another special feature of the boat is its sail plan.

HOPE 28′ is an educational boat. We have therefore opted for a ketch rig, allowing us to reduce the effort on the winches, but also to divide the workstations to allow more participation in the practice of sailing.
The yacht is equipped with a lifting centerboard allowing for beaching and a draft of less than half a metre.
