The Manoe52′ is a blue water ocean cruising yacht that has started in construction at the shipyard “Gilles Voisin” in Normandy.
Desired by future owners experienced in blue water cruising, this unit has been designed for a couple, with the possibility to be assisted by a crew occasionally.
The Manoe52′ has a very unique ergonomic design and is particularly practical for extended periods at anchor. The saloon, galley and chart table/owner’s desk are at a very similar height to the cockpit. Thus, only one small step separates the two spaces, which allows for easy communication and circulation on board.
Below, on the bow, two cabins (guest and owner) as well as a shower room and numerous storage spaces are custom-made.
At stern, a staircase under the saloon seat provides access to a completely independent crew cabin (or guest cabin) with its own access to the deck.
The aft cockpit has two steering wheels and an axial circulation to the transom (tilting transom or single rear skirt). The winches are located on the coamings on either side of the cockpit. They allow the management of the piano as well as the headsails.
A furling boom allows to limit the number of manoeuvres required at the bow.
